Vestibular Investigation Unit
About the unit
The Vestibular Investigation Unit aims to help patients with dizziness or balance problems by providing useful diagnostic information, counselling and advice.
The Vestibular Unit employs Eye and Ear Audiologists and the University of Melbourne Audiologists who are specially trained to perform audio-vestibular function tests. We also have a team of a qualified vestibular physiotherapists.
The Unit also has strong links to other East Melbourne Audiology and Otology services and the research facilities of the University.
With medical oversight from Dr Mark Paine (neurologist), we have a multidisciplinary team working to provide the best patient care possible.
